About Snail Mail Books

Snail Mail Books started with a simple discovery: the wonderfully creative mailboxes scattered throughout my own hometown of Siesta Key. What began as a curious habit of noticing them slowly turned into Mailboxes of Siesta Key - and now once the book was finished, I needed a place to bring it into the world. That’s how Snail Mail Books came to be.

Not long after, a visit to a friend in another coastal town sparked a new idea: what if this became a series, celebrating the character of once coastal community at a time? Snail Mail Books is meant to be that landing place - for future titles, and eventually for other things I love, like puzzles, posters, and calendars celebrating the places we call home.

Learning to run a small business from the ground up has been a genuine labor of love - and it’s given me a whole new respect for every small business owner out there doing the same.
